Project

P&H MINEPRO, VIRGINIA, MN

Project Summary:

The Jamar Company took an innovating approach to designing the gas services that are integral to P&H MinePro’s services at their new US Northern Repair Operations Center in Virginia, MN. With the size and height requirements within both the Maintenance and Welding shops, a modular approach was sought out to enhance the installation of the gas systems utilized for maintenance. The gas systems installed were Oxygen, Propylene, Carbon Dioxide, C25 Mix & Compressed Air. By pre-manufacturing the 32 x 5 pipe systems, off-site, the ability to delivery to site in a just-in-time methodology was realized. The provided modules were the supply lines for multiple welding and maintenance stations within the facility. All lines were pre-painted to spec prior to delivery and install

Key features of this project include:

  • 32 x two dimensional (pre-painted) piping racks
  • Gas Services for maintenance and welding stations
  • 10,000 sf of new office
  • 52,000 sf of customer support operations area
  • Addition service capabilities to manage warehouse logistics, machinery weldments, rebuilds, machine upgrades, relocations, rigging services and life cycle maintenance services.
